My work is inspired by Gloria Anzaldúa’s conceptualization of autohistoria‐teoría and adrienne maree brown’s Pleasure Activism framework. My paintings function as a form of testimonio and autoethnography. Some pieces have a story, some are accompanied by poetry, and some are a snapshot documenting a moment in my emotional journey.

My painting practice is ever-evolving, but the core purpose is always the same: visual autobiography. This gallery exists as a digital archive of my testimonio work.
